Stanadyne Completes Successful United Way Campaign

Stanadyne and its employees revealed that its entrepreneurial spirit encompasses a heart of compassion. As loyal participants in the United Way campaign, Stanadyne employees continued their long-standing tradition of giving to help those in need.

Employees of the Washington, NC location of Stanadyne pledged $4603.28 to the 2009-2010 United Way Campaign. Giving levels increased 16% from last year's campaign--a notable accomplishment considering the ripple effects still emanating from the economic downturn.

Mary Elizabeth McNeill, Executive Director of the Beaufort County United Way, was elated at the level of employee participation in Stanadyne's campaign. "Stanadyne is a company that really understands the value of partnerships. The generosity of Stanadyne employees exists as a great example of how industry and nonprofit organizations can work together to address issues that impact how we work and live," McNeill stated.
